I doubt any of VGC numbers or PS3 fanboys numbers reflect reality. I'm sure VG has been over tracking PS3 numbers in Europe making mistakes as VGC does in NA. They add guessing with the tracking based on what they think the demand is.

That was obviously some of the conflict between Itagaki and Tecmo. Tecmo wanted money from both consoles and Itagaki is pro 360/360-fanboy(helped design the 360)
